Keep Your Bottle
To play Keep Your Bottle, you need two plastic bottles, plastic cups and buckets filled with water. Players line up and divide into two teams. Each team has a person sitting on a chair, holding the empty bottle on his head. The objective is for the first person in line to race to the bucket of water to fill the cup. The player then races to the person with the bottle and pours the water into the bottle. He hurries back to the next person in line and passes the cup. The team with the most water in the bottle after all team members have competed wins the game.
Beach Obstacle Course
Set up obstacles to crawl over and under on the beach shore. Some obstacles to use are chairs, hula hoops, jump ropes and balls. Divide into two teams to see who can complete the course first. When finished, make the course even more challenging for the next game.
Tug-of-War
Players divide into two teams on opposite sides of a rope. The first team to pull the opposing team over the center point, wins. Tug-of-War can be played in the ocean or on the shore with a pool of water as the center point. The losing team will be sure to get wet when losing the rope's grip and crashing into the water.
Splash Game
You will need cards with numbers for the total numbers of players and small and large water containers. To start, one player stands in the middle of the circle and picks a card without telling anyone the number. She then fills a small container with water. Each player in the circle says a number. As soon as a player says the number that the player in the middle chose, he gets splashed with the water. If no one says the targeted number, the player splashes herself with the container of water.
