Keep It Up
This is the classic game of Keep it Up with a twist. Have everyone form a circle. Call out someone's name and a body part. That person will have to hit the balloon with the specified part before the balloon hits the ground. If the person doesn't get to the balloon in the time or uses the wrong body part, he is out.
Balloon Twister
Blow up balloons in green, red, blue and yellow and secure them to the floor. Call out a challenge such as "right hand green." Players can stand anywhere in the room but must then reach for a green balloon and touch it as you would with a regular Twister game. If a player falls or pops a balloon she is out.
Round Up The Herd
Round up the herd of balloons with a broom; the first team to do so wins. Create an obstacle course and take turns as a team sweeping the balloons through the course. Play involves one person from a team going through the course then handing off the broom to the next person until each team member has had a chance to sweep. If a balloon pops, you have to start over. For the obstacle course, use blockers the kids have to sweep around such as large buckets, chairs and a limbo stick they have to go under. Use anywhere from five to 10 balloons to make up the herd.
Balloon Stomp
The object of the game is to be the last person with an inflated balloon. To play, blow up several balloons and tie a long piece of ribbon or string to the end of the balloon. Then tie the other end of a balloon around each person's ankle. When you say "go," everyone must try to stomp on and pop the other balloons while protecting his own. Once your balloon is popped you're out of the game.
Balloon Stuff
See who can hold the most balloons in their clothes. Form teams and have each group try to stuff as many balloons inside one teammate's clothes. The team who can stuff the most balloons in without popping them wins. Set a time limit and have someone with a stopwatch track the time.
