Cool But Easy Magic Tricks

Performing magic tricks is not only fun for personal enjoyment but can also be a source of entertainment when hosting parties and while waiting around for long periods of time. Magic tricks may look complicated, however there are several that are actually quite simple and will amaze your friends and family.
  1. Card Warp

    • In this trick the magician folds two cards together and one seems to transform before everyone's eyes. Both the face side and the back of the card become visible at once. To perform this trick you have to first fold two cards ahead of time, one lengthwise and one shortwise. Then cut the lengthwise card in the middle up to the center. Show both sides of the card to the audience covering the cut with your fingers. Fold the lengthwise card so the torn edge faces away from the audience. Insert the shortwise card in the lengthwise card. Push the shortwise cut outside of the cut. Slide the card into the other card until you reach the end. Then do a reverse fold of the cards and show the audience both sides of the same card at once.

    Educated Guess

    • For this trick you'll amaze people by seeming to pick a person's number out of several written on papers. To perform this trick, take one piece of paper and fold it into thirds. Tear the sheet along the lines you folded. The center section will have two torn sides which is what you need to remember. Hand the center piece to a participant in your audience. Ask them to write down a number and then fold the paper into thirds. Hand the other two pieces of papers to others and repeat the same process. Then take all three pieces and mix them up. Look down at the folded papers and find the one with the double torn edges. Unfold it and show it to the first audience participant. Ask if it's her number.

    Money Clip Flip

    • In this trick paperclips seem to link themselves together entirely on their own. To perform this trick take a dollar bill and with the face facing you and fold it into thirds, left to right. On the right side slide a paperclip on the bottom two layers. On the left side slide a paperclip on the top two layers. Hold the bill with one hand on each side. Start to give the side a little tug. Give it another tug and the paperclips should pop up and off the bills then link together in the air.
