Indoor Treasure Hunt
An indoor treasure hunt can be played in a home or other indoor area that has many places to hide things. The players are given a clue that will lead them to the first location and object. When the object is found there is a new clue attached that will lead them to the next. This is a fun way to get the players to a final surprise or a special present at a birthday party.
Outdoor Treasure Hunt
Outdoor treasure hunts can be played in a yard, playground or park. The players are given a treasure map with directions on where and what to do to reach the final destination. The final destination can just be an ending point or include a prize or treasure. Clues for the treasure map can be easy for children and more difficult for teenagers and adults. A compass or measuring device may be required.
Object Treasure Hunt
Treasure hunts for objects challenge the players to find objects. Players are given a list of items to find. The player or team that comes back with the most found items wins the game. Some items might be too large or fixed to collect, so a photo or some other proof of the item will need to be provided.
