Blind Make-Over
A model's make-up and cosmetics are key to a runway show, in ensuring that she compliments the clothes she is wearing, Use this as inspiration for a runway party game. Pair up all the players and place a blindfold over one of each team. Set up a table filled with make-up supplies, such as lipstick, eye shadow and blush next to the participants. Do not include objects such as mascara, with which the blindfolded player could injure the other player. The blindfolded player must do the make-up of her partner in five minutes, staying blindfolded. The player being made-over can only help with verbal instructions. Players may not look in mirrors until the five minutes have elapsed. The team with the best make-up wins.
Cat Walk Strut
Lay a table runner across the floor and mark the sides with Christmas lights to create a makeshift runway. Play music, such as disco or techno music, and have the participants strut their stuff down the catwalk. They can take turns doing proper runway walks and comical versions. Vote to choose the best runway strut, as well as the funniest and the most unique walk. Award prizes to the winners of each category.
Tee-Shirt Design
Set each player up with a blank tee-shirt at a work station. Provide all the players with designing tools such as fabric glue, beads, sequins, fabric paint and strips of lace, satin and even animal print fabrics. Give them an hour to design their trademark tee-shirt. Once complete, have each player model the creation for the group. Choose various categories to compete in, such as most cutting edge, most beautiful and most colorful, and award prizes accordingly.
