Alien Party Games

Themed parties are great fun. Along with the decorations, food, and attire, every good theme party must have correlating party games. In many cases, traditional party games can be tweaked a little to match the atmosphere. In some cases, a whole new game is created. Regardless, guests are sure to love these out of this world alien party game ideas.

UFO Designer
- Allow the guests to be UFO designers and hold a competition to see which alien produces the best ride. Keep the game organized by having tables with materials set up before guests arrive. Time the creation portion of the game to ensure all guests receive the same amount of work time. Once the UFOs are completed, displayed them for judging. Give a prize to the winner.
Comet Toss
- Create a board by painting a picture of outer space on a piece of plywood. Cut circles out among the planets. Have guests test their tossing skills by trying to throw a bean bag into the holes. The game works best with a yellow bean bag. Inform guests that the bean bag is a comet traveling through space.
Pin the Alien to the UFO
- What is a party without a traditional party game? Using cardboard, create a space ship and an alien. Blindfold the guests and see who can pin the alien in the driver's seat. The person who gets closest to the target wins.
UFO Frisbee
- Allow your party guests to test out their UFO flying skills by throwing Frisbees through the air. Add excitement to the game by using a camera to capture a few of the sightings. The person who makes her Frisbee travel farthest is the winner.
