Fun Painting Games for Girls

Spin the Nail Polish

• Start by having the girls sit down in a circle. Gather several bottles of nail polish and place them in the middle of the circle. Have one girl reach her arm out to one of the bottles and spin it around. The person the tip of the bottle points to gets one of her nails painted in that color. Continue this process by having the second girl spin the nail polish. End the game after everyone has had all of their nails painted. To make the game even sillier, have the girls spin more than one color at a time.

Painting Portraits

• Give each of the girls a piece of paper and some painting supplies. Have all of the girls sit down in a circle. Tell each participant that she has to paint a picture of the girl to her left. After everyone has finished painting, give each girl another sheet of paper. Tell them to repaint the picture using the hand they don't normally use. Try to make sure that the portrait sitter does not see her picture until the end. After the girls have finished, let everyone compare pictures to see how well they did. Vote on which girl painted the two most similar portraits.

Paint Her Face

• Divide the group into pairs, and give each pair some face paint. Have the girls sit facing each other, then call out the name of an animal. One partner from each pair has one minute to paint her partner's face to resemble the animal you called out. Once the minute has elapsed, survey the faces and pick the painter who did the best job, giving that team a point for the achievement. Call out a new animal, and let the other partner take a turn. At the end of the game, the pair with the most points wins. For more of a challenge, have the girls paint more difficult things onto their partners' faces, like trees or planets.
