How to Play the Beer Mug Tic-Tac-Toe Game

The simplest way to play drinking games without spending money is to alter the games you played as a child to include liquor. For example, you can play Monopoly with each player taking a shot after passing "Go." However, when it comes to tic-tac-toe, you can play a normal game on paper or create a life-size board, using normal sized beer mugs and duct tape. Either way, beer mug tic-tac-toe is a blast when you know your alcohol limit and don't cross it.

Instructions

    • 1

Cut six 13-inch strips of duct tape. Wash the outside of 10 beer mugs with a mixture of vinegar and water then dry them. Apply "X" stickers to five of the mugs and "O" stickers to the remaining five mugs.

    • 2

Create a tic-tac-toe board by laying three of the strips of tape 4 inches apart horizontally in the middle of a table. Measure 4 inches toward the center of the tape on the table and lay one strip of tape vertically. Measure 4 inches away from the vertical piece of tape and lay the other strip. They should cross the horizontal tape on the table. You should have a shape that looks like the pound sign on a telephone.

Fill 10 mugs with beer and select one player to go first. The first player puts his mug in a square on the board. It is now the next person's turn. Player two puts her mug in a square on the board. This process continues until all of the squares have been filled. The player that gets three of his mugs in a row wins. The loser drinks all the beer on the board.
