Things You'll Need
Instructions
Choose your golf balls. You can choose colorful balls so that more teams can play at one time. You can purchase foam golf balls that will not hurt as much if they hit someone---although you need to be sure they have enough weight to be tossed across the yard during the game.
Drill holes through the golf balls. The size of the drill bit you use will depends on the twine or rope that you have chosen for the balls. You want your holes to be slightly larger than the twine so it easily fits through the ball. If you find it awkward to drill the balls, you may need a second person to hold the balls while you drill, or you can put the golf balls into a vice.
Cut your twine into 15-inch lengths. Tie a large knot into one end of the twine, then slip on the first golf ball. Tie another knot directly on top of the golf ball, which will prevent it from sliding around. Measure about twelve inches from the top of the golf ball and put another knot in the twine. Slip on the second golf ball of the same color and then tie it off to keep the ball in place. Trim off any excess twine. Repeat for all the golf balls.
