Silly Picture Scavenger Hunt Ideas

Scavenger hunts are a fun and creative idea for parties, fundraisers or corporate team building exercises. Scavenger hunts have traditionally been played with a list of items to find in an allotted period of time. With digital cameras so popular, scavenger hunts can be much more creative and interactive. While some of the same rules apply (work in teams, have an allotted time period in which to complete all tasks), digital cameras allow much more creativity and interaction by team members.

Animal's Adventures
- Break the group into teams. Assign each team a digital camera, a small stuffed animal and a list of places or activities. Within one hour, each team must take a picture of the stuffed animal at each place or activity. The most creative wins.
Team Photos
- Give each team a list of activities and poses. The entire team--less one photographer--must be in each picture (rotate the photographer so that everyone gets a chance to participate). Activities can be...surfing, doing something nice for a stranger, etc. Poses could include--everyone form a pyramid, be a squirrel, stand on one foot, etc.
Landmarks
- Give each team a list of famous (and not so famous) landmarks. Teams must photograph each landmark in an unusual way within the allotted time period.
Tasks
- Provide a list of tasks/jobs that team members must be photographed doing (pet a puppy, eat an ice cream cone, smell a flower, do something nice for a friend, sell a slice of pizza, ride a scooter). Team members must rotate doing each task within the allotted amount of time.
