Fun Easy Teen Party Games

Believe it or not, teen parties benefit from games. Games keep them occupied and having fun, which makes the time fly by and keeps them from going off into little groups. There are many party games that you can do at a teen party, but you want to make sure that they appeal to their interests and don't seem too babyish. It might even be a good idea to ask some of the guests to come up with a few games that they would like to play.
  1. Song Charades

    • There are many ways to play charades, but a good variation for a teen party is using popular songs that the kids like. Have them list song names on scrap pieces of paper and place them in a bowl. Split the group up into teams and have them act out the song titles. You can give points to the team that guesses the answer.

    Building Contest

    • Have a building contest with something that is not easily used as a building material such as drink cans. Have the kids bring as many rinsed out cans, or other chosen material, as possible. Pick two kids at a time and see which can build the tallest structure within a set time frame. When the race is over, let the winner play the next person in line until everyone as played. You can give the overall winner a prize for their efforts.

    Makeovers

    • If you are having a girl party, hair and face makeovers without a mirror can be a hilarious game. Split the group up into two or more groups complete with makeup and hair supplies. Have one girl in each group put on make up and do her hair without the aid of a mirror. The other girls in her group can help guide her with direction without physically helping. The result can be great or down right funny.

    Balloon Capture

    • Play a game with balloons similar to capture the flag. Give each team several balloons to guard and have them try to pop the balloons of the other teams. The team with the most balloons still intact at the end of the game wins. It is best to give each team balloons of a different color so that you can tell them apart at the end of the game, and so they realize which balloons are theirs during the game.
