Goofy's Cooking Relay Race
Assemble a meal for hungry Pete, Goofy's arch nemesis, and whichever team gets it to him first, wins the race. Divide the group into teams of two or three. Give each team a recipe card that includes the name of the item they will cook, ingredients and measurements. Only one player is allowed in the kitchen at a time and they are only allowed to complete one step on the card.
Create recipes that don't require a long cooking or baking time such as homemade macaroni and cheese, club sandwiches or even pancakes. Also, be sure each recipe takes the same amount of time to bake or cook to level the playing field. Have all the ingredients on the counter or up front in the refrigerator along with necessary utensils such as measuring spoons, cups, spatulas and pans. Whichever team completes the meal first wins the challenge.
Cinderella's Sugar Cube Castle Sculpture Challenge
Build Cinderella's castle using sugar cubes. Provide royal icing, sugar cubes and candy to allow the kids to create the most elaborate, imaginative castle they can dream up.
Give each child access to a bowl of sugar cubes and candy. Each child should also receive their own personal frosting piping bag filled with royal icing. The only rules for this game is that all castles must be completely eatable, contestants use royal icing to glue candy and sugar cubes together and can use the icing to draw or write whatever they want on the castle. Provide a small Cinderella figurine for each castle builder. You can find small Disney toys at the Disney store or at many toy stores. Let the party guests save their castle to bring home to show their parents.
Mickey's Pancake Game
If you've ever tried to make a design using pancake batter you know it's a difficult task to accomplish. Play a funny pancake drawing game where contestants have to "draw" a Disney character with pancake batter on a hot skillet. Down load and print some popular Disney character coloring pages to give the group a point of reference to create their art.
Give everyone at least two opportunities to recreate their Disney character using pancake batter. Remind the group that those uncanny Mickey Mouse ears seem to be one of the easiest to recreate with pancake batter.
Lay each creation out on the kitchen counter and write down the artist's name on an index card that lays face down. Let the group judge the pancakes when everyone is finished and reveal the winner by turning over the card.
