Things You'll Need
Instructions
Who Am I?
Create a list of famous people (actors, characters, politicians, musicians, sports stars and celebrities). If your party has a theme you might choose names of famous folks that relate to it. Write one name on each name tag.
As guests arrive, place name tags on their backs.
Tell the guests that the object of the game is to figure out who they are by asking other guests yes or no questions. For instance, "Am I American?"
Guess Which Guest
Create a list of attributes, skills and facts that you know about the people coming to your party. Don't make them obvious. Instead, write things like: "speaks four languages," "born in Cuba" and "can do fire tricks." In the event that someone doesn't show up, you can let guests know that they can cross out that person's identifier.
Type and print out several copies of the list. Leave a black space beside each statement. As guests arrive, give each one a copy and a pen.
Have guests go around and talk to other folks to find someone to fill in on each line. This is great when people don't know each other because they have to ask one another's names and get to know new people.
The winner is the person who fills in all the spaces first. It's best to make a rule that players can only use each person's name once, so they can't fill in the same person for five statements just because they all happen to apply.
They can mingle while asking questions or you can have them all gather and go through one by one. Have each guest in turn stand in front of the others, turn around to show the name tag, then ask questions to everyone until they can figure out who they are.
