Dog and Cat Name-Guessing Game
Write the word "dog" or "cat" on several small pieces of paper. Fold the pieces of paper and place them in a hat. Ask each girl to select one piece of paper but not to tell anyone what the paper says. Give each girl a blank piece of paper and a pencil and ask her to write everyone's name down.
Set the timer for 15 minutes, and ask each girl to act like the animal on her piece of paper. The girls have to guess whether their friends are dogs or cats. When a girl guesses the animal, she should write it down next to the girl's name.
Once 15 minute are up, go around the room and ask each girl if she was a cat or a dog. The girl with the most correct answers wins.
Does Your Pet Look Like You?
Ask the girls to bring in a photo of their dog or cat. Be sure the photos feature only the pets so it isn't obvious who the owners are.
Number the photos and tape them to a large poster board. Give each girl a piece of blank paper and pencil. Ask her to number her paper according to the poster board and then guess which dog or cat belongs to which girl. Give away Littlest Pet Shoppe toys for correct answers.
Dog and Cat Drinking Race
This game can get a little messy, so have plenty of ponytail holders on hand to tie back the girls' hair. Purchase a girl's headband set of doggy and kitty ears from the local dollar or party store.
Ask each girl to select a dog or cat headband to wear for the game. Place a small bowl of Jell-O in front of each girl and ask her to "drink" her Jell-O like a kitty or puppy. They can't use a spoon, fork or their hands to drink their Jell-O.
The first girl finished wins the game (and probably gets a bath).
