Christian Party Games for Adults

When Christians get together for a party, there probably won't be any drinking games. But adults can still have fun playing games that focus on the Bible. Choose games that are geared toward groups of adults that can split up in teams. Creativity and knowledge of the Bible are tested in fun ways that are sure to make the members of your group laugh.
  1. Bible Charades

    • Choose someone to be the moderator. The moderator will split the group up into two teams. Each team will be given slips of paper to write down Bible songs, phrases, books or movies.

The slips can be placed in a hat. The moderator will keep team A's hat to be used for team B, and vice versa. The moderator can flip a coin to see which team will go first. The team that wins will pick one player to go up and pull a slip of paper out of the hat. That player must act out the phrase on the piece of paper without using words, while the other team members try to guess what it is.

Teams will have three minutes to guess the correct answer. If they get it right, they get a point. Each team takes turns until all the slips of paper have been used. Points are added up, and the team with the most points wins.

    War Balloons

    • War balloons is a game you need to play outside, because it involves running around. Divide into two teams and assign each team a color. If you separate into men vs. ladies, you might want to use blue and pink.

Blow up one balloon for each player. Make sure each team member has the same color balloon. Tie a piece of yarn to the end of the balloon and then around each player's ankle. Someone will have to yell go, and then all players must run around trying to pop the other team's balloons without letting their own balloon get popped. The first team to have all their balloons popped loses.

    Outburst Bible Edition

    • Outburst is a game meant to be played with a group of people. Christians can now get together at a party and play the Bible edition. The group should divide up into two teams. Teams will take turns.

One member from the first team will read a title to the second team. The second team will have until the timer runs out to name ten things that go with the title. The tricky part is that ten items have already been chosen on the card, and you must name those exact 10 to get the points. For example, if the title was "Sons of Jacob," you would have to list the 10 out of the twelve possible answers on the card. The team gets one point for each correct answer given. Then the second team reads a title for the first team and keeps track of all the correct answers given. After the designated amount of rounds, add up the points. The team with the most points wins.
