Student Group Card Ideas

Cards are an affordable and fun way for a student group to collect memories, show outside people about their group and have fun. With digital cameras, cards can be personalized for each member. They can include simple identification cards, baseball cards, or Magic or Pokemon game types of cards.

Identification Cards
- Using a digital camera and a photo ID card software package, most desktop printers can print out identification cards of credit card size.
  
  Include a standard format with the student group's name, the student's name, the student's photo, dates of issue and expiration, the and student's signature.
Baseball-Type Cards
- Using custom-card software, your desktop printer and digital photos, the group can make up cards on the baseball card format.
  
  The front of the card will feature a picture of the student; the student's name; position, office or rank in the group and the year issued. On the back of the card, list statistics such as tournaments won or standing in state competitions or quotes.
Game cards
- A creative group can make up cards for individual members based on a collectible card game format such as Magic or Pokemon
  .
  For a 4H club, the individual's values for breeding and showing, for instance, may be ranked and shown on the card as different strengths or powers.
Increasing the Quality
- Small print shops will be able to take software card files and produce higher-quality cards on heavier stock than most desktop printers can provide. These cost more, but will be comparable in quality to baseballs cards or Pokemon cards.
  
  Laminate cards to make them more durable.
