Things You'll Need
Instructions
Write down offensive moves on index cards that have been colored with a blue highlighter. It's a good idea to start with only five moves. You can add more later. Start with five basic offensive takedown moves, which are the fireman's carry, the single-leg takedown, the double-leg takedown, the hip-lock and the Russian drag. Make 10 cards for each of the five offensive moves. You will have 50 offensive move cards.
Design a defensive card for each of the five different offensive moves. You will have five different defensive moves, and each will have the word "counter" followed by one of the five offensive moves. Use a red highlighter to mark the defensive cards.Make 10 cards of each "counter" card for a total of 50 defensive move cards.
Shuffle your two stacks of cards separately. You should have a stack of blue offensive cards and a stack of red defensive cards. Deal five offensive cards and five defensive cards to each player.
Each player plays a blue offensive move card and a red "counter" card face down so that nobody knows what move or counter has been chosen. Turn over each card once the cards have been dealt.
Each person who plays an offensive card that is not successfully countered with a defensive card scores a point. A successful counter card scores a point for the person who played the counter card. For example, if Player A has played a hip-lock offensive card and Player B played a Counter Hip-Lock defensive card, Player B scores a point. But if Player C played a Counter Russian drag card, then Player A scores a point. Note that multiple points are scored for each turn as each offensive card is scored against each player's defensive card.
Play five rounds. Keep a running total for each turn for each player's offensive and defensive cards. The player with the most points at the end of five turns is the winner.
