Things You'll Need
Instructions
Include games for all ages. Even adults like to play organized games. Make teams that include young and old. You can have two teams for sports events or several smaller teams for races and relays.
Play games that are just for fun with no winners or losers like Frisbee and catch. Or play relay games with small prizes. You can play sack race or the spoon game by running against other teams of 2.
Set up teams for baseball and soccer. Many people love playing team sports and it's especially fun when you're playing against family members. Make sure you plan ahead for these games by bringing bats, balls and helmet.
Swim for fun and play games like Marco Polo or water tag. Monkey in the middle works well in a lake or pool.
Ask someone to be it and play tag or hide and seek. Picnic areas make fun places for running and hiding. It's always a lot of fun playing with large groups of people.
Get wet by tossing around water balloons. You can buy little mini balloons made to hold water. Bring a plastic tub and fill it up with water balloons. Let the kids toss them around or break into pairs and pass them back and forth.
Grab a long rope and play tug-o-war. Divide players into two even teams. See who is strongest by pulling the other team over a line. This game is great for all ages because you can divide players so that each team is equal in strength. Both strong and weaker players get a chance to play.
