Instructions
Choose a person who has never played psychiatrist before to be the psychiatrist.
Send the psychiatrist out of the room to a place where they can't hear everyone else talking.
Discuss what "disease" the rest of the players will have. Everyone must have the same disease. Usually the disease is acting like the person to your right, but other variations are possible.
Invite the psychiatrist back into the room and tell him that you all have the same disease. He can begin asking questions to diagnose your affliction. All the players must answer as if they have the agreed upon disease. For example, if the psychiatrist asks you how old you are, you must respond with the age of the person to your right instead of your own age.
Yell "psychiatrist" when the psychiatrist stumps a patient with a question. After someone yells "psychiatrist" all of the players change seats. If the psychiatrist asks a question that, if answered, will reveal too much information someone in the group can yell psychiatrist.
Continue playing the game until the psychiatrist properly diagnoses your illness. You can help the psychiatrist along by telling him whether a question is going in the right direction or not.
