How to Build an Online Playground With Simple Machines

Join the Roblox community and create a username and password. Download and install Roblox studios, the map-creation program offered on the website. This program gives you the tools to build and adjust objects to your liking, and add them to the Roblox map in the correct positions before you add them to the game.

Open the Roblox Studio by clicking ̶0;Start,̶1; selecting ̶0;All Programs,̶1; and choosing ̶0;Roblox.̶1;

Click ̶0;New̶1; to make a new map. Select ̶0;Insert̶1; and choose ̶0;Object̶1; from the drop-down menu. Highlight the object you want to use to build your machine. The object will immediately appear on the map. Choose from 20 different brick types, or select pre-made objects to insert on the playground.

Select the game tool icon that looks like an arrow to move and stack the bricks or objects the way you want them. Press ̶0;R̶1; to rotate a brick or ̶0;T̶1; to tilt the brick.

Save changes to your playground periodically by pressing the save shortcut, ̶0;Ctrl̶1; and ̶0;S.̶1; Undo a mistake you make by simultaneously pressing the undo shortcut, ̶0;Ctrl̶1; and ̶0;Z.̶1;

Make each machine different from another by changing the object surface. Click the ̶0;Surface̶1; tab from the top toolbar. Click on the object you want to change.

Press the ̶0;+̶1; next to any object you want to edit. You can change the shape, color or size of the bricks and objects.

View all of the different machines you make on the playground by clicking the ̶0;Pan Left̶1; or ̶0;Pan Right̶1; tool.

Click the ̶0;Play̶1; icon to place your playground in the game. Press the ̶0;Stop̶1; icon to make additional changes.
