How to Shoot a Gun in World of Warcraft

In the massive multiplayer online roleplaying game "World of Warcraft," also known as "WoW," guns are one of the weapons available to players who choose the Rogue, Warrior or Hunter class. Goblins, Dwarves and Taurens all start with the ability to use guns, while the other races need to purchase the ability to do so from trainers. Shooting a gun in "WoW" is a simple process that requires having a gun in your inventory and the ability to shoot it.

Instructions

      Open "World of Warcraft."

      Access the character screen, also known as the character's paper doll, by pressing "C."

      Open your inventory by clicking the bag icons in the lower-right corner of the screen.

      Left-click on the gun in your inventory and drag it to the ranged slot on your character screen.

      Close both the inventory and the character screen by left-clicking the X's in the upper right-hand corner.

      Access the spellbook screen by pressing "P."

      Locate the "Shoot" icon in the spellbook.

      Left-click the "Shoot" icon and drag it to an empty slot on your action bar, the boxes that run along the bottom of your screen.

      Close the spellbook screen by clicking the X in the upper right-hand corner of the box.

      Select a target by right-clicking on it.

      Shoot the target by left-clicking the "Shoot" icon in your action bar.
