Things You'll Need
Instructions
Use a pencil to fill out your D&D character sheet as opposed to a pen. As you level up and find new items, certain attributes of your character will change. You need to be able to erase these attributes on the sheet and write in the updates, which you will be unable to do if you write in pen.
Fill out the top of the character sheet with information about your character including his or her name and race.
Fill out the number boxes at the top of the character sheet with information about your character's statistics. During character creation you will need to roll a series of dice to find these statistics. Follow the directions associated with the version of "Dungeons and Dragons" that you are playing to find this information, and write it down on the sheet.
Write down the mannerisms, characteristics and personality traits of your character into the appropriately labeled boxes. These are entirely of your own design and reflect the type of character you want to play as.
Fill in the rest of the boxes with the requested information. Write down the languages that your character knows, the amount of gold your character has and the type of equipment he or she possesses. Keep this character sheet nearby while playing to refer back to during battles and conversations.
