Change the attribute scores for the character to 21 strength, 10 dexterity, 17 constitution, 16 intelligence, 17 wisdom and 16 charisma.
Roll 11 12-sided die. Add 33 to the sum of all the die rolled in this manner. This is the starting hit points for the character.
Add large character size and "Lawful Good" alignment to the character sheet. These cannot be changed.
Modify the character stats so base attack is +11, base grapple is +20, attack is +15, fortitude save is +10, reflex save is +7 and will save is +10.
Add a natural armor bonus of +10 to the character sheet. The final armor class (AC) for a gold dragon in 19. This is the combination of the base AC of 10, natural armor bonus and the -1 penalty for being a large creature.
Add the base racial abilities to the character sheet. The speed for a gold dragon is 60 feet per round on land, 200 feet for flight and 60 feet for swimming. Dragons have three uses per day of "Alternate Form," "Immunity to Fire," "Vulnerability to Cold" and "Water Breathing."
Select a class and increase it to the level indicated by the player acting as the Dungeon Master. Add "Disguise," "Heal" and "Swim" to the class skill list.
Add 18 to the class level to determine effective character level (ECL) of a gold dragon. This modifies the amount of experience needed before the dragon goes up a level.
