Princess Dress-Up Relay
Divide the girls into two teams. Line up each team. You will need a princess gown, wand, crown and slippers for each team. Place these items in a brown paper bag labeled "Fit For A Princess." Place the bags a distance from where each team is lined up. When the adult says "Go," the first person in each line must run to the bag, dress in all of the items, turn around three times, and run back to their team. The next person in line will then dress in the princess clothes and run to the designated spot, turn around three times, and run back to the next person. This goes on until each person on the team has dressed up and run the relay. The first team to have all members back in line wins.
Musical Princess Slipper
This game is a princess version of the game "Hot Potato." All the girls stand in a circle. Princess music will be playing in the background. The birthday girl or guest of honor starts off the game by holding the princess slipper. She will pass the slipper to her left. When the music stops, the girl with the slipper must sit upon the royal throne. The royal throne is a chair in your home decorated with streamers and other items so that it looks special. The music starts again and the slipper is passed. The next girl to hold the slipper will have her turn on the royal throne and the previous throne sitter will rejoin the game. The game continues until every girl has had a chance to sit on the throne.
Fairy Princess Crown
Draw or trace a simple tiara onto a piece of poster board. Cut a large red ruby out of construction paper or shiny red paper. Place a piece of tape on the back of it. Place the poster board some distance from the girls. Make sure the path is unobstructed. Line the girls up. The birthday girl or guest of honor will go first. Blindfold the first girl with a piece of pink satin or a simple eye mask found in the cosmetics aisle. Spin the girl around three times. She will then try to put the jewel on the tiara. Whoever gets the jewel closest to the center of the tiara wins.
