Girl Spy Games

If your daughter loves mystery books and television shows, then she may love spy games. Some spy games are either unisex or geared to girls. She can play these games on the Internet, on her PC or video game console or at the kitchen table. You may find that board games, puzzles and play sets are more wholesome than the computer and online games since they do not show any violent acts.
  1. Online Spy Games

    • Your daughter can play spy games on the "My Games 4 Girls" and "Girls Games Now" websites. At My Games 4 Girls, she has to choose an outfit for the character&'s undercover mission. She can even get creative with the outfits by combining different pieces together. My Games 4 Girls also has the Kim Spy game, in which your daughter helps a protagonist named Kim stop the bad guys. Before taking on the mission, the player must dress Kim in a disguise. Girls Games Now has Totally Spies, which invites players to help them on a mission at a mall where robots are out of control. These games are free to play and registration is not required. However, registering with the website gives your daughter the chance to display her high scores.

    Spy Video or PC Games

    • Instead of having your daughter play on the Internet, you can purchase her a video game. Totally Spies is available on PC and Nintendo Wii. There are three versions: Totally Spies: Zombie Jamboree, Totally Spies: Swamp Monsters and Totally Spies: Totally Party. All of them have different missions for your daughter to participate. The Nintendo DS has two Kim Possible-themed games: Kim Possible Global Gemini and Kim Possible: Kimmunicator. In Kim Possible Global Gemini, players must help Kim in stopping Gemini, the villain, from creating his empire. Kim Possible: Kimmunicator is a 3D game that combines high-action and humor. Parents can also choose from the Nancy Drew games, which are for PC and Nintendo DS. All of these games are for ages 6 and up.

    Spy Toys

    • If you&'re looking for an alternative to video games, consider educational spy games and toys. The I Spy game series has games called "Ready, Set, Silhouette," "Super Challenger," and "Eagle Eye Junior," in addition to a preschool game, bingo, and a memory game. These games are ideal for girls of all ages. Your daughter can also play with puzzles from the I Spy collection that has images of spy missions.

Other toys include the Cyber Gear Video Spy camcorder, the Sonic Sleuth game and Let’s Play Detective dress-up set. Your daughter can use the Cyber Gear Video Spy camcorder as a camcorder or voice recorder. The Sonic Sleuth headset lets your daughter listen to voice conversations from more than 300 feet away. Last, the "Let’s Play Detective" dress-up set includes a detective’s hat and badge, sunglasses, police tape, handcuffs, notepad, magnifying glass and evidence containers. Your daughter can pretend to be Nancy Drew or a female Dick Tracy.
