Fun Dress Up Games for Teens

Just because you are a teenager doesn't mean you have to miss out on all the fun that comes with playing dress-up games. Get in touch with your imaginative side by gathering some friends and play a dress-up game during your next party. Dress-up games are great ice breakers and a fun way to connect with your pals. Use a variety of clothes from your closet or local second-hand store, such as wigs, makeup and accessories, to make dress-up games a success.
  1. Celebrity Dress Up

    • Transform yourself into your favorite celebrity teen sensation at your next party. Dressed as a certain celebrity, invite friends to your party and have them guess your alter ego. Guests can only ask yes or no questions to the "celebrity." The first person to guess correctly wins a prize.

Play a game of charades where players must dress up as a specific celebrity and the group has to guess the celebrity. Write down names of popular teen celebrities on index cards and place them in a hat. Call your first guest up to the front of the room and ask her to randomly select one name. She can't show it to the group and must go to the pile of dress up clothes and dress up like the celebrity. When she is done the group has to guess the name of the celebrity. Guests can only ask yes or no questions and the first person to guess the right name gets to take the next turn.

    School Spirit

    • Celebrate your high school or college spirit with an in-school or party dress-up game. Ask teens to dress up in the colors and logos of their favorite school. Each teen has to create a chant or cheer about their beloved school and perform it in front of the rest of the teens. To reduce the embarrassment factor, group teens with similar schools together and let them create and perform the chant or cheer together. Ask adults or teachers to judge the cheer contest and give awards for loudest cheer, funniest cheer and cheer with the most school spirit.

    Dress Your Friend

    • This silly game lets you dress your friend up as fast as you can. The first team finished wins the game. Assemble a pile of clothing, wigs and accessories on one side of the room and ask teams of two teens to stand on the other side. One teen gets dressed up by the other teen. The only rules are that the dresser can only bring one item back at one time, has to use a wig, pants, top and three accessories and the teen being dressed cannot help.
