How to Play Valhalla Knights

Read the instruction manual that comes with the game. Like many role playing games, Valhalla Knights has a learning curve as you discover more about the world the game is set in, its characters and what effect their skills have on the game play. If you do not have a copy of the manual, you can read a free walk through on the GameFAQs website (see Resources below).

Learn the game controls. Use the analog stick to move your character, and the directional buttons to control the menus and call up battle shortcuts. Press the "X" to activate game items and to attack when in battle. Press the "circle" button to cancel your selections. The "triangle" button brings up the game menu and the "square" button activates the battle menu and allows you to crouch while in a fight. Press the left trigger to change the camera view and the right trigger to lock the camera view in place.

Analyze the 4 different races to choose from, as they each have strong and weak points about them. Your choices are humans, elves, dwarves and halflings. Humans are the most balanced and elves are strong with magic. If you like strong characters that are good with weapons then choose the dwarves. The halflings are a good choice as a rogue or thief type of character.

Choose a low-level job for your character. You can pick from fighter, mage, priest and thief.

Participate in quests to improve your character's skills and win the game.
