How Can I Ace the Jeopardy Contestant Audition?

For decades, Jeopardy has been one of the most popular game shows in America. The game tests the knowledge of three contestants in a variety of categories, from science to United States history. One by one, they're eliminated, until a final champion emerges. For the audition process, understand when going in that only a few applicants are accepted to appear on the show. If you think you've got what it takes to compete on Jeopardy, then there's only one step left: ace the audition.

  Arrive early to the audition to make a good impression on the show's producers. The audition will not be delayed because of those who arrive late.

  Dress like you're ready to appear on the show. Wear business-casual clothes such as khakis and a dress shirt. Watch past episodes of Jeopardy for ideas on what to wear.

  Eat a balanced breakfast and use the restroom before arriving to the audition. The process will take several hours, so be ready to wait for the duration. Try not to leave the audition for any reason.

  Answer questions quickly and accurately. Contestant coordinators will look kindly on you if you're able to answer questions better than your opponents. Be proud, confident and do your best.
