How to Connect a Jeopardy DVD Game

The Jeopardy DVD game lets players compete in 20 original episodes of the television quiz show, Jeopardy. Just like the TV show contestants, players use buzzers to chime in and answer in the form of a question. However, rather than answering out loud, players choose the correct "question" from on-screen multiple choice options.

Things You'll Need

4 AA batteries
DVD player
6 AAA batteries
DVD remote control

Instructions

  Insert four AA batteries into the game unit. Then, use the included AV cables to connect the game unit to your DVD player. The cables are color-coordinated. Put one end of the cables into the "Input" jacks on your DVD player.

  Insert 2 AAA batteries into each of the game buzzers. Put the game DVD into your DVD player and press the "Play" button.

  Navigate on screen to the game "Setup" menu, then select "Buzzer Setup" from the menu.

  Hold your DVD remote control within 1 inch of the game unit display. When prompted, press the "Left" button on the remote. You will be prompted to press "left" twice. Next, press the "Skip Forward" button on your DVD remote when prompted.

  Repeat Step Four, except press "Right," "Down" or "Up" as prompted, instead of "Left." You need to go through all four directions to finish. This connects the game buzzers to your DVD player and ends the connection process.
