How to Play Plinko

Plinko is one of the most popular games on "The Price is Right." Whether you are on the popular game show or someone built a Plinko-like board as a party game, the strategy is quite simple. You place a chip against the board, drop it and it bounces through the maze before landing in a slot where you are awarded some type of prize (on the TV show and Nintendo Wii video game, the prize is monetary) or nothing at all.

  Win as many Plinko chips as possible (if playing on the TV show or Nintendo Wii). You win chips by guessing the right price for consumer goods.

  Step up to the board, once you have all of your chips.

  Lay a Plinko chip flat against the top of the Plinko board.

  Take aim at the prize you want to win by lining up the chip within an area where it can bounce around the board until it lands in the slot.

  Release the chip and watch it bounce and travel through the maze until it reaches one of the bottom slots.
- 6
  If you win a prize and the chip doesn't land on zero, then you can add the amount of the prize to the grand total of winnings.
- 7
  Repeat Steps 3 through 6 until you've played all of your Plinko chips.
