Things You'll Need
Instructions
Get the bracelet appraised. Go to your local jewelry appraiser and find out how much your bracelet is worth. The bracelet may look old and worn and may not be worth anything or it could be worth hundreds or even thousands of dollars. You can locate a local certified appraiser by visiting www.appraisersassoc.org.
If the bracelet is an heirloom, talk to your family members before selling your bracelet. Some family member may want to keep an heirloom in the family and be willing to pay you for the bracelet.
Sell the bracelet to a jewelry store. Many jewelers like to buy antiques and resell them to those specifically seeking out antiques.
If you're not expecting to make a lot on the bracelet based on the appraisal, you could sell it to a consignment or pawn shop. Many pawn shops like to purchase antiques in hopes that they can resell them in auctions.
Sell your antique bracelet online. When selling anything online, only use a credible site, like eBay. With a good description and picture of your bracelet, you may find many people willing to purchase your antique. On eBay, you can consider offering it for bidding with a preset minimum bid or offer it at a specific price as a "Buy It Now."
