How to Bind a Blade From Mcx to a Dx6i

The Spektrum DX6i controller is designed to work with hobby helicopters, and you can bind the controller to nearly any model hobby helicopter. One of the helicopters that works well with the Spektrum DX6i controller is the E-Flite Blade MCPX helicopter. It is a straightforward matter to align the controller to the helicopter for a smooth transmission during flight. If you want to use the controller for a different helicopter, simply turn it off and repeat the binding process for the other helicopter.

Instructions

  Turn on the Spektrum DX6i controller. Lower the trim lever and the throttle lever into the down position. Turn the dual-right off. Turn the transmitter off.

  Connect the battery to the wires leading out of the bottom of the helicopter. Push the wires into the battery until you hear a small click. Wait for the transmission light to start blinking on top of the helicopter.

  Press the ̶0;bind̶1; lever on the controller. It will start to beep. Press the lever until the light on the helicopter stops blinking.

  Push the elevator lever up and down to test the connection. If the blade moves up and down, the two units are bound properly.

  Push up on the throttle to raise the helicopter from the ground. Use the elevator and throttle to fly the helicopter around the room or outdoors.
