Place the right wing bracing assembly on the work surface. Insert the horizontal braces into the grooves at the top and bottom of the wing. Place an end of one of the diagonal braces into the top left corner pocket on the wing. Place the other end of the brace into the bottom right corner pocket on the wing. Repeat this with the other brace, inserting it only into the upper right corner pocket and the bottom left corner pocket. Repeat this entire procedure to put braces on the left wing bracing assembly.
Place the fabric wing that has a fin at the center horizontally face down on the work surface. Place the body of the biplane vertically on the wing at its center with the body̵7;s tapered end facing you. Insert the ends of the left wing bracing assembly into the slots on the top left side of the bottom wing. Insert the ends of the right wing bracing assembly into the slots on the top right side of the bottom wing.
Place the other fabric wing horizontally on the top of the biplane̵7;s body. Insert the ends of the left and right wing bracing assemblies into the slots on the left and right bottom of the top wing.
Turn the biplane over so the tapered end is farthest from you. Run the tapered rods through the grooves in each wing. Insert the ends of the rods into the slots on the left and right top and bottom sides of the kite fabric. Turn the biplane over.
Insert the wheel base rods into the slots on each side of the biplane̵7;s body. Apply a dab of white glue to the slots to secure the base. Place a wheel on the end of each wheel base rod. Twist the wheels clockwise to secure them on the rods.
