How to Take Off an Axe Cp

The Axe Cp is a Mini EP Ready-To-Fly (RTF), radio-controlled (RC) helicopter. This sophisticated aircraft is capable of mimicking all the aerial capabilities of normal collective-pitch RC helicopters. Learn how to properly take off with this helicopter to ensure that you achieve optimum performance from this complex machine.

      Place the helicopter on a flat, wide-open surface. Turn on the transmitter and the aircraft, and then step back at least 15 feet from it.

      Move the collective stick (the left joystick) up to engage the main rotors. Slide the joystick up until the helicopter begins to lift off the ground.

      Increase the throttle by moving the left joystick high enough to keep the helicopter in the air.

    • 4

      Land the helicopter by steadily decreasing the throttle until the helicopter touches down.
