Things You'll Need
Instructions
Turn off the power to the radio receiver and transmitter.
Disconnect the battery connector from the small square-shaped receiver's "BAT" terminal, which is mounted within the aircraft's fuselage, if necessary. Certain electric-powered aircrafts may not utilize a separate battery pack for the receiver and may only use a single battery pack that connects to the electronic speed control. Nitro-powered aircrafts require a separate battery pack for the receiver.
Insert the bind plug into the receiver's "BAT" terminal. For a nitro-powered aircraft, insert the battery pack connector into one of the available 3-pin channel terminals that are located next to the "BAT terminal. Turn on the receiver after making the connection. For electric-powered applications, connect the battery pack to the electronic speed control and then flip the aircraft's power switch to the "ON" position.
Ensure that the throttle control is set at the lowest position. Turn on the transmitter while holding the "BIND" button, which is located at the rear of the device.
Continue holding the "BIND" button until the LED indicators on the transmitter and receiver stop flashing and light green.
Turn off the receiver followed by the transmitter. Remove the bind plug from the receiver. Reconnect the separate external battery to the "BAT" terminal if necessary.
