How to Reverse the Rudder on a DX6I

The Spektrum DX6i is a 6-channel radio control transmitter for operation on the 2.4 gHz band. Suitable for flying radio-controlled airplanes or helicopters, the DX6i features DSM2 technology that maintains a more stable transmitter-to-receiver connection in crowded RC frequency bands. The memory function of the transmitter stores data for up to 10 models, so the DX6i may be used with a variety of aircraft without reprogramming settings. Initial setup of any RC transmitter with a new aircraft requires verifying that the directional motions of servos in the aircraft properly correspond to their respective control inputs on the transmitter. If a servo moves in the opposite direction than intended, that channel must be reversed at the transmitter.

  Power up the DX6i transmitter and the receiver in the aircraft.

  Move the rudder control stick on the DX6i panel to the left, while observing the deflection of the rudder on the aircraft. If the rudder moves right instead of left, reverse the channel.

  Press and hold the roller above the LCD display on the DX6i for three seconds to bring up the SETUP list.

  Rotate the roller to scroll down the SETUP list, and highlight the REVERSE box. Press the roller to select REVERSE.

  Rotate the roller to scroll down the REVERSE list, and highlight RUDD for rudder.
  
  Press the roller to select RUDD.

  Press the roller to toggle between N (normal) and R (reverse.) Press the roller to select R.

  Press and hold the roller for three seconds to return to the main screen.

  Move the rudder control stick on the DX6i panel to the left while observing the deflection of the rudder on the aircraft, to verify that the rudder now moves in the proper direction.
