How to Maintain an F-4 Phantom

The McDonnell Douglas F4 Phantom is a twin seat Mach 2 fighter jet. It first flew in 1959 and was introduced into US Navy service in 1961. Over 5000 were built in many variants including photo reconnaissance and electronic counter measures. Besides the US Navy, the USAF, and US Marine Corps, the Phantom has been used by 11 other Air forces. Although originally designed as an interceptor, the Phantom has also been used as a bomber/ground attack fighter. It is widely regarded as a classic aircraft of its type.
