Things You'll Need
Instructions
Turn on the aircraft and the transmitter, then place the helicopter on a flat, wide-open surface.
Raise the left (throttle) joystick enough to generate the thrust necessary for lifting the helicopter off the ground.
Use the right (steering) joystick - by sliding it either left or right - to direct the nose of the aircraft in the direction you intend it to travel. Move the steering joystick up or down to point the nose up or down, moving the helicopter either forward or backward.
Combine the mechanics of both joysticks to navigate the helicopter in a 3-dimensional area. Use the left joystick to change the aircraft's altitude (higher or lower) and the right joystick to direct the flight path.
Land the helicopter by steadily decreasing the throttle until it begins to descend. Then, as the aircraft approaches the ground, slightly increase the throttle to reduce the impact of the landing.
Reduce the throttle completely to stop the main rotor from spinning, then approach the aircraft and turn off the power before turning off the transmitter.
