Instructions
Remove the battery door from the controller using the screwdriver. Install the six AA batteries in the controller and replace the battery door.Install the eight D batteries into the base of the launch pad charging station
Hook each of the four landing gear prongs into the launch rods on the launch pad charging station. Insert the charge nozzle into the charge port in the helicopter, making sure the helicopter's on/off switch is in the off position. Switch on the charging station. A green light will blink on and off for three minutes. When it stops blinking and remains solid green, the helicopter is fully charged for flight.
Choose a large, open, grassy flying field. Stay clear by at least 150 feet of other people, buildings, overhead wires, trees, animals, or other obstructions.
Screw in and fully extend the controller's antenna. Switch on the controller, helicopter, and launch pad charging station. Back off at least 15 feet from the launch pad. Double check to make sure flying field is clear of people and animals.
Pull the trigger on the controller toward you to launch and fly your helicopter. The harder you pull, the higher it will fly. Ease off on the trigger to slow down or change direction. Once the helicopter is flying in the desired direction, pull the trigger toward you again, and you can continue in that direction or fly higher. Ease off on the trigger slowly to land. Land only in a soft, grassy area. Flight duration is 30 seconds to two minutes. Maximum control range is 300 feet.
Push the trigger into the full brake position to stop the rotor from spinning. Keep it in that position until you reach the helicopter and can shut off the on/off switch on the helicopter.
