      Start your stopwatch and begin the helicopter's ascent from the ground.

      Continue to let the stopwatch count time as you fly your RC helicopter.

      Stop the stopwatch once your electronic helicopter has finished its flight, either by your own dictation or because it is out of power. The amount of time that passed from when you started the stopwatch until it landed is the calculated flight time.
