E-flite P-47 Brushless Upgrade Options

The E-Flite P-47 radio controlled airplane is a stunningly accurate representation of the legendary World War II P-47 Thunderbolt fighter bomber. The E-Flite replica features a realistic paint scheme, detailed canopy and cockpit, molded structural body lines and molded wing machine gun cannons. The beautiful plane comes with a number of upgrade options for radio controlled airplane enthusiasts.
  1. The High Power inRunner Brushless Motor

    • The E-Flite high power inRunner brushless motor is designed for the RC plane enthusiast that wants the highest performance from his planes. The 68-gram motor spins at 4200 RPM/volt and comes with a number of matching accessories. The inRunner motor should be fitted with the aluminum heat sink in order to dissipate internal heat during high load usage. This motor provides a significant performance enhancement from the traditional Speed 400 motors.

    The Lightweight outRunner

    • The next step in performance is the lightweight outRunner brushless electronic motor. The lightweight outRunner is designed for the small to medium RC plane. Weighing only 56 grams, this electronic powerhouse spins at 920 RPM/volt, which creates enhanced performance in most RC planes. The motor mount is included in the kit, and the electrical connectors are gold plated for the most reliable electrical connections. This motor is also a replacement for the traditional Speed 370 and 400 motors.

    The High Power outRunner

    • The high torque, high power output on this motor is an excellent replacement for the lighter duty inRunner motors. Weighing 72 grams and spinning at 890 RPM/volt, the shaft in this outRunner motor can be reversed for an alternative pusher plane installation. This motor is extremely quiet and also is an excellent replacement for the Speed 370 and 400 motors.

    Accessories

    • E-Flite offers a full range of accessories to perfectly balance their brushless motors in any size or weight RC plane; an aluminum heat sink will provide additional cooling for these highly efficient electronic motors. These motors must be used with an ESC control module and can be adapted to various size battery packs. ESCs are available for various sized battery packs/voltages.
