Kitfox aircraft are sold in a kit form of sub-components to be assembled by home builders. Manufactured since 1984, they are lightweight, economical airplanes. The planes are built with standard basic tools. Required specialized tools are sold as an option with the kits. The Classic IV is the most popular model.
