How Do I Program a Spektrum Dx7 Radio?

Spektrum DX7 radios are radio-powered controls designed to work with remote control aircraft. The DX7 has the ability to control both gas- and glow-powered aircraft. The AR7000 seven-channel receiver is included with the DX7 and simultaneously operates on two separate radio frequencies. In order to program the DX7 to work with your aircraft, use the "Model Select" menu to choose the aircraft that you are using.

  Press and hold the power button to turn off the Spektrum DX7.

  Press and hold the "Down" and "Select" buttons simultaneously and press the power button to turn the DX7 on.

  Press the "Increase" button until you see the "Model Select" prompt on the screen. Press "Select" to enter the "Model Select" menu.

  Press the "Increase" or "Decrease" button to scroll through the models that come preloaded into the DX7. When you find the model of your aircraft, press the "Select" button to choose it.
