Things You'll Need
Instructions
Remove the damaged main rotor blade by gripping the small rotor shaft, underneath the blade, with a pair of needle-nose pliers. You will need to keep the rotor shaft from moving while taking off the old rotor blade; be careful not to bend or break the rotor shaft with the needle-nose pliers.
Twist the old rotor blade off the rotor shaft using your hands. If you find it difficult to remove the rotor blade in this manner, cut down through the middle of the rotor blade using a sharp hobby knife. Cutting the section of the old rotor blade where it connects to the rotor shaft will free the rotor blade from the shaft.
Continue gripping the rotor shaft with your pair of pliers and add a small amount of silicone adhesive to the top of the shaft. Press the new rotor blade onto the shaft firmly but be careful not to bend the rotor shaft in the process.
