RC Plane Projects

Radio-controlled (RC) plane kits can be put together from scratch using kits at home. Enthusiasts enjoy creating the model themselves and then taking the plane out to fly. It is possible to purchase radio-controlled plane kits either for full or partial assembly. Radio-controlled plane kits are available in a wide range of styles and prices from a number of manufacturers.
  1. House of Balsa

    • The House of Balsa carries a number of airplane model kids and accessories. The radio-controlled Electric MicroAcro Cub is a laser cut model with a wingspan of 35 inches. The RG-51 Electric Rockwell is a 1/10 standoff scale that is designed by Nick Ziroli, an expert builder and flyer. T Electric Rockwell is an all balsa and plywood construction model that has a wing span of 47 inches and requires a four channel micro radio to fly. The Electric Nomad is an electric flying machine with a wingspan of 46 inches. Balsa House airplane kits all come with full color illustrated instructions. Airplane model kits can be purchased online and some are available from licensed distributors. The electric-powered radio-controlled planes from Balsa cost between $74 and $500 depending on the kit.
