How Do I Charge a Spektrum DX7?

A Spektrum DX7 is the first full-range 2.4 gigahertz-spread spectrum radio system for radio-controlled aircraft. Using Spektrum technology and the DX7 controller, you can ability fly small or large radio-controlled, or hobby, aircraft, such as planes and helicopters. When used in conjunction with the AR7000 7-channel receiver, the DX7 allows you to control the flying path of the aircraft with no external radio interference. The DX7 uses rechargeable batteries for power.

     Plug the battery-charging adapter to the outlet on the back of the Spectrum DX7. If desired, attach the charging cord to the aircraft receiver. The charger can charge both of these at the same time.

     Plug the battery charger into an electrical outlet. It will begin charging the Spectrum DX7.

   • 3

     Allow the battery to charge for 16 hours.

   • 4

     Unplug the battery charger from the electrical outlets and remove the cords from the DX7 and receiver.
