Piper Clipper Aircraft Information

The Piper PA-16 Clipper is a single-engine airplane manufactured by Piper Aircraft in 1949. Piper developed the aircraft to expand its aircraft line after World War II, according to the Skagit Aero Education Museum.

    • According to the Skagit Aero Education Museum, the Piper Clipper has a Lycoming O-235 engine with 115 horsepower. The engine drives a two-blade propeller.
