Instructions
Place a sheet of newspaper on a table. Place the toy car upside down with the hood facing to the left. Line up the wooden skewer with the bottom of the toy car. Duct tape the wooden skewer to the bottom of the toy car.
Turn the toy car right side up with the hood facing to the left.
Place the rocket engine on the top of the toy car with the ignitor hole that is in one end facing to the right. Duct tape the rocket engine to the top of the toy car.
Bend the bulb head of the rocket engine ignitor down. Place the ignitor head into the ignitor hole in the end of the rocket engine.
Insert the rocket engine plug into the end of the rocket engine where the rocket engine ignitor has been inserted. Push the rocket engine plug into the end of the rocket engine to secure it in place.
Go outside in your backyard. Bend the bottom of the rocket engine ignitor up towards the end of the rocket engine. Bend the two wires now sticking up away from each other until they are both horizontal.
Stick the end of the wooden skewer into the grass or ground.
Attach an alligator clip from the rocket engine launching system to the ends of each of the two wires attached to the rocket engine ignitor.
Stand back from the rocket powered toy car you have made. Pull the safety rod out of the rocket engine launching system.
Call out ̶0;Fire in the hole̶1; to warn everyone that the rocket powered toy car is about to fly. Press the trigger on the rocket engine launching system to fire the rocket engine and propel the toy car up into the sky.
