Airports Near Oxnard, California

There are three airports within 12 miles of Oxnard, California in Ventura County that are available for public use. Each one of these airports has a different primary mission, yet all are available for practice take-offs and landings during prescribed hours. Oxnard is used by many passengers to conveniently connect to Los Angeles' LAX and connecting flights, but just 150 aircraft based at the field. The largest public airport in Ventura County it is a popular airport for many of the county's aircraft owners. It has one runway (8/26) that is 6,013 feet long and 150 feet wide. It is classified as a general aviation reliever airport for Los Angeles and supports more than 20 aviation businesses and more than 600 aircraft based at the field. The Waypoint Café is a restaurant on the airport property that serves three meals daily with excellent views of the ramp and runway.

    Santa Paula Airport - KSZP

    • The Santa Paula Airport is a public use airport that is privately owned located in Ventura County, CA. It has one runway (4/22) that is 2,713 feet long and 60 feet wide. There are more than 300 aircraft based at the field, most of which are single engine. Aircraft services include parking, fuel, rental, flight training. The Aviation Museum of Santa Paula is on the airport property and there is one restaurant, the Logsdon Restaurant that overlooks the runway and ramp whose menu includes everything from burgers to frog legs.
