Ontario Air Shows

From warbirds to wingwalkers, fly-ins to fly-bys, Ontario boasts a full schedule of air shows, aviation expos, and aircraft presentations throughout the summer months. Events range from the thundering demonstration of state-of-the-art military aircraft over Lake Ontario during the Canadian International Air Show in Toronto to the quiet, nostalgic appreciation of early aircraft at Ottawa's Classic Air Rallye.

Canadian International Air Show
- The Canadian International Air Show is held each year in Toronto over Canadian Labour Day Weekend. Performances take place over Lake Ontario near the Canadian National Exhibition waterfront. Past performers have included the Canadian Forces Snowbirds and the United States Navy Blue Angels.

Canadian Aviation Expo
- This fly-in and trade show is hosted in early May by the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum at the Hamilton International Airport and features warplane demonstrations, airplane rides, and helicopter rides.

Waterloo Aviation Expo and Air Show
- This show at the Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre, scheduled for Father's Day Weekend in June, includes displays and demonstrations by warplanes and other aircraft, as well as performances by teams such as the Canadian Forces Snowbirds.

Classic Air Rallye
- This show at the Rockcliffe Airport Ottawa, scheduled for late August, showcases aircraft from the era between World Wars I and II, with a few WWII warbirds and post-war aircraft thrown in for good measure.
